Parents ~ PAC
At Evergreen School, we believe that each child’s education is a partnership. Parents are a child’s first and most important teachers. We emphasize the importance of the family in the child’s development and seek to create a partnership with parents. Together, staff, parents, and children become a community of learners.
We believe that our School grows through its collaboration with our parents. Among other connections throughout the school year, Evergreen School has a Parents Advisory Committee that meets monthly.
The mission of this Committee is to promote partnership between the parent and the School in support of the priorities and mission of the Evergreen School by:
- Encouraging school spirit, family participation, and an inclusive community;
- Facilitating communication within the Evergreen School community; and
- Supporting, promoting, and coordinating volunteer efforts and leadership.
