Elementary Mathematics Program
 
Studies begin with a reinforcement of concrete concepts and progress to the abstract in order to ensure a firm understanding of mathematical concepts.

  • Materials allow for a visual, concrete experience

  • "Isolation of difficulty" (one concept at a time)
  • Whole number operations (+, -, x, ÷)
  • Measurement (time, money, length, volume)
  • Fractions, decimals and percents
  • Powers of numbers
  • Algebra and geometry
